One Way Link Building - 6 effective ways to get links from other sites
58One of the biggest challenge for most webmasters to get their site rank top 10 in search engines are actually the abilities of getting other websites linking with you. In the old days, people will ask for exchanging links where Website A Links With webstie B and site B links back with A but with the recent changes of search engines, these link exchanges schemes have been discounted and it does not have the power as it used to be. So today, most webmasters weill seek one way incoming links to their sites. So how do you get quality one way links then? In this article, we are going to discuss 6 effective ways to get quality one way links pretty easily.
Method 1: Forums Signature Links
Before you add a link in the signature file of any forums, make sure first you read the rules of the online discussion board and check what kind of restriction they have before you can add a link on your signature file. Some forums may only allow a link in the signature after you make x threads and be a member of x days. So make sure you check that before, otherwise you may just waste your time. Since in the past, I used mostly online forum to gather links to my websites, I will recommend you only get links from relevant forums to your site rather than adding links from any forums to prevent spammer accusation. When you make a thread, try doing in legitimate ways, don't reply with the same answer every thread on the forums. Offer some useful reply to members questions. If you don't know the answer try searching on Google and answering it. This makes the moderators think you are willing to contribute something rather than just want to get links from their sites.
Method 2: Blog Comments
For blog comments, it is pretty much the same with building links from forums. Since you are building links from a real person website and again you don't want to be accused as a spammer, I will suggest try not to add anchored text link there and instead a link to your personal web page then a link to your money site. This is the strategy I recommend.
Method 3: Submitting Articles to article directories
This is the strategy I recommend these days, because you won't be accused as a spammer by any means. You just need to write an informational article related to your website topics, add your links in the author bio box and submit to some high traffic directories such as ezinearticles.com, ideamarketers.com, articledashboard.com, goarticle.com and so on. Wait for your articles to be approved by the editors and viola, you've got your link pointed to your site and the best part for articles directories are free. You don't spend a dime on it so to me it is really the best method that I come up with so far. For some biggest directory such as ezine articles, the review process is relatively fast. They will do it in 3 working days mostly and they will email you if your articles is approved or got problems so that you can correct the problems and resubmit again. This is the my favorite article directory, the second favorite is goarticles.com, since there are no review process at all but it doesn't mean you can spam them with advertising. Make sure you keep them in mind.
Method 4: Web directories submission
In this strategy, depends on your budget, you can submit free directories or paid ones. The paid one most SEO gurus suggest will be Yahoo directory, Business.com, botw.org, Gimpsy.com and Joenat.com and for free, the must have directory to submit your website is DMOZ.org but it requires at least 3 months to have their editors to approve your site since it is free and the editors are working in voluntary basis. But when you are submitting your site to any web directories, make sure, their directories are search engine friendly and they do allow one way link without paying them and also, allow your choosen keywords in the link (anchored text links). Most web directories only one way link or anchored text link when you pay them, even you have the money, I will suggest you submit to free directories only. Well, for a typical submission fees, $25 for a year, if you submit to 10 directories, it costs you $250 already, so what if you submit to 100 directories? $2500! Well, that's quite a lot of money, especially if your site is not commercial or do not generate that amount of income yet. So I do recommend free website directories submission. To submit your site to those directories, you need a website title, description that describes your site with at least five version, your contact email address and your name. Depends on the web directory editor, your site inclusion revision may take a week or infinite. So to me, this strategy is the most tedious among all others link building methods since you have no control and do not know for sure when your link will show up to their sites.
Method 5: Squidoo lens
Like submitting articles to aritcle directories, with this strategy, you basically creating a so called lens at squidoo, which basically a webpage and you write some again informational article there and add a few links as a reference. Of course you can add your own as well anywhere in the lens but again don't make it too commercial.
Method 6: Hubpages Hub
Like squioo Lens but with hubpages, don't make your links too obvious, mix your link up with different websites that you don't own, and write information articles always. Don't ever offer something there, since their rules changed and almost my old hubs was flagged to be too commercial. With the above discussed strategy, surely you can get links very easily to your site and achieve higher search engine ranking. Want to get quality 750 one way links every month?
